The Barnes & Noble Nook is user friendly, cheap and affordable. The Nook is the only reader which has the entire display menu in Colors. The Nook use a more advanced E ink Vizplex electronic paper display which reads like the printed page. The Nook has a display area 6 inch with 2GB internal Memory and an Expandable microSD slot.
The Nook can store up to 1500 books in the internal memory. The Nook also offers free wireless connectivity for downloading Books, magazines and newspaper feeds from the store in seconds. The Nook has a built in Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary for easy lookup of words while reading.
The Nook supports a variety of book formats like EPUB, PDB and PDF. You cannot read Word documents as it is not supported. The Nook also supports playback of MP3 songs and has a built-in mono speaker. You can also listen to the Audiobooks. The quality of sound from the built-in speaker may not be good so I suggest you use headphones.
Barnes and Noble have a collection of over 700,000 books which was ones a largest collection before the Sony Reader Store announcement of its merger Google.

Also Barnes and noble will be launching LendMe technology (beta) in the early 2010 for easy sharing of books with your family members or friends for a period of 14 days.
