The new HP Touchsmart with Windows 7 is touch screen computer system. HP makes the Touchsmart as a home desktop or a take along laptop computer. Different models will either have the Intel processor or AMD. Here is a bit more about the Touchsmart and how it came to be today.

The Touchsmart was actually the first computer to be launched as a touch screen monitor. This happened all the way back in the year 2007 when Bill Gates announced the introduction to the Touchsmart IQ770 model.

It is predicted that 30 million laptops will be delivered to Africa by the year 2015. The group that is responsible for this latest change is One Laptop Per Child and this is the expected plan of delivery that is being predicted. Not only will computers be delivered to East Africa, but also the Middle East is on the list and laptops will also be delivered to this area where there is the greatest need.
