Smartphones Get Memory Boost

Smartphones can increase the life of their battery dramatically, up to 20%, by changing the memory that is being used. Phase change material is constructed of a material that is designed to erase memory when it is heated, and this causes it to use less memory. The change to the memory modules is something that Samsung has announced recently and may be seen as soon as late 2010.
